MARRIAGE and IMMIGRATION – How do I get a Green Card?
You need a lawyer who knows the complexities of getting a green card through marriage. If you do it correctly, you may have your green card in a matter of months. If you do it incorrectly, you could get deported.
If you are already in the United States, the process is called Adjustment of Status. The primary concern is whether you entered the U.S. legally or not. If you did, there is a good chance that we can get you permanent residence based on marriage, even if you overstayd. If you did not enter legally, still call us to discuss your options.
If you are outside of the United States, the process is commonly called Consular Processing. This means that we work with USCIS to get you a visa at the U.S. Consulate where you live, based on your marriage.
