If you have any of the following on your record, you should speak with an attorney from our office BEFORE you file any immigration applications:
- Either a crime involving moral turpitude (CIMT) or a violation of any law or regulation related to a controlled substance;
- Convicted of two or more offenses with an aggregate period of confinement of five years or more;
- Controlled substance violation;
- Illegal prostitution and/or commercialized vice within the past 10 years;
- Controlled substance trafficking;
- Human trafficking; or
- Money laundering activities.
